Weekly Reflections

Sunday 3rd may

I'm running later than I’d like today, I can't get used to these earlier starts now I've moved. I get a taxi in.

I loved this class, even though I get no feedback today.

I’ve realized that sometimes I’m 'in the zone' and sometimes I’m not, but my internal feeling rarely seems to reflect the experience of the group. Their  intention and purpose of the class is completely different from mine.

Monday 4th May

I get to have to day off as it's May Day. A positive is that I get to have some time off completely to myslef and it’s rare that I have no other urgent work to do . A negative is that I lose a lot of income. I decide it was worth it.

Tuesday 5th may

5 hours of Homeopathy clinic today online, last hour is hard. Then a quick bounce on my new trampoline and plan my class.

Class is quiter than normal. I tell myself that maybe it's due to the bank holiday weekend.

A smooth class, I felt my instructions were clear and the pace was good... Plus I know everyone quite well tonight so I'm much more relaxed.

Wednesday 6th May

Day off.

Thursday 7th May

This class was so hard to get going a year or two ago and I was thinking it might not work out. But now its one of my busiest classes. Consistency pays off! Had three teenagers come with their mums. They were so good. It was funny watching them make eye contact and faces at eachother at different points in the sesssion. But they didn’t talk or laugh and they worked really hard. Such a great class.

Friday 8th May

Friday mornings at the Parsonage. This group is very close and small.... We've got one new person joining for this block who's been to a few classes before, today something ‘clicks’ and she’s got a much better technique. Always a great moment to witness. Again, consistency pays off!

Home to work on my newsletter then take the afternoon off..

Saturday 9th May

Day off but I do a Homeopathic consultation and then work all day on admin and newsletter. Self employed life. To bed late. I forget to put a load of things in my newsletter and remember just as I go to bed.

Sunday 10th May

Early start, slept so badly. That's ok I'm awake after my ride in. Nice and early again so already feeling good.

Great class, a few new people, another busy one.

I get a text later from a client who tells me she did the roll up for the first time today 😀

Afternoon off but I end up doing emails and typing up this blog later in the evening.

I enjoyed reading the weekly reflections because the thoughts felt honest and relatable instead of overly polished. During a stressful semester, I also spent time reflecting on my routines while relying on do my assignment for me to keep up with deadlines. The post reminded me how important small moments of self awareness can be during busy periods. Personal reflections often help people grow in quiet ways.
